What is an ESPW Facilitator and Why Are They are So Important to the Organization?

ESPW Facilitators are women who possess strong people skills, have or wish to develop experience in leading small group meetings/discussions, are committed to the progress of women in our community, and support ESPW, which is about being open, positive, encouraging, supportive, inclusive, and welcoming. 

Facilitators’ Duties:

·         Serve as greeters at the monthly meetings

·         Act as mentors for members -- answering questions, making suggestions, guiding them

·         Lead roundtable introductions and member discussions to ensure equal time for each member and that the discussion stays “higher”

·         Serve as Facilitator for a minimum of 4 monthly workshops

·         Be a Member

·         Describe our terms, values: positive, higher, encouraging, supportive, inclusive, respectful

·         Go over unique networking approach through deeper relationships (quality vs. quantity)

·         Participate in at least one of the ESPW Facilitator planning/training meetings per year

·         Invite new members to join the organization by following up with any guests who were at your table.
